Immerse yourself into the vibrations and tones of sound healing

Crystal Singing Bowls

I play up to 8 crystal singing bowls. Each bowl is tuned to a chakra or energy center within the body, singing in perfect incremental harmony at 432 Hz. Each crystal bowl loosens up stagnant energy so that it can rejoin the energy flow, while simultaneously helping to calm overactive adrenals. Many people report an increase in mental and emotional clarity.

Symphonic Gong

The gong is an ancient and powerful tool that has been used for thousands of years. With each stroke of the mallet, energy in the body is reorganized, the body is relaxed, and the mind is stilled. Known as the sound of the cosmos, the gong often carries its listeners on a journey through transformation and release.

Tibetan Bowls

The pure sonic waves that ring from Tibetan singing bowls wake up our ability to hear with more than our ears. We feel the sound Tibetan singing bowls as much as we take it in with our ears. Buddhist monks have long used these bowls in their meditation practice. With their warm bell-like tones, Tibetan bowls enhance relaxation techniques such as meditation, deep breathing, and guided imagery.

I think it is important to mention that the reality of music and sound and their effects on life, health and healing are far more complex than any particular note or reference pitch standard. One's state of consciousness ultimately comes from within and it comes from finding balance and flow in relation to the countless phenomenon existing all around us and moving through us. The consciousness, attunement, awareness, intent and skill of an artist determines the energy transmitted, not a reference pitch.

WHAT TO BRING and WHAT TO EXPECT:

I recommend bringing the following:

  • a mat or cushion to lay on

  • a pillow or two

  • a water bottle

  • an eye mask

  • a blanket

  • an intention

  • an open mind and heart

  • anything else your heart desires; essential oils, fuzzy socks, etc., anything that will provide you comfort

Plan to arrive at least five minutes early, this will allow you enough time to use the restroom and get cozy. Feel free to go straight to your mat, lie down, and close your eyes as you wait for the sound bath to start. After a brief introduction, I will lead you through an acoustic journey, usually beginning with the gong, moving onto the crystal bowls, chimes, crystal pyramid, and remaining instruments. During this time remember that you can always come back to your breath. Deeply inhaling and deeply exhaling. Although the sounds are pleasant most of the time, it is possible that unreleased emotions may rise up. Accept these emotions as they are in the moment, continuing to breathe in blessings, and exhaling any negative feelings. I like to end each sound bath with chimes. These will gently awaken your senses, as you come back to this reality and back into your body. After a few spoken words you will be signaled that the sound bath is over. Feel free to remain where you are and soak in the residual vibrations. Please be mindful that you are grounded before traveling home.

Always feel free to come up to me after a sound bath, my favorite part is hearing about your experience, getting to know you all, and receiving any feedback.

TIP: I love to lay on one of these mats. I wish I could provide one for all of you! If you have any doubts about comfort or you just really love sound baths like me, lug one of these along with you next time. You will not regret it. Don’t feel embarrassed to bring a handful of comfy things along, I wish everyone would! I’ve also seen people bring inflatable mats or memory foam for a cheaper option. Comfort is key!

For private sound baths held at my home, I have two foldable mats available.
